In order to modernize consumer protection laws in the European Union, the EU Commission introduced the "New Deal" legislation, which went into force this year. Reviews and content play a crucial role in fostering consumer trust in the digital market.
In the Boostified Pay domain, the "New Deal" (also known as the Omnibus Directive 2019/2161) essentially enforces the following.

More transparency for consumers in online marketplaces
False reviews are not allowed on the online marketplace
Any business that posts customer testimonials online must adhere to the rules to guarantee that the testimonials come from actual customers who have utilized the goods or services
